Hekima College,Jesuit Scool of Theology was founded and maintained by the Major Superiors of the Society of Jesus in Africa and Madagascar in 1984 to provide theological formation at University Levelfor Jesuit studentspreparing for priesthood.
Other properly qualified students,male and female,are also admitted to the School of Theology.
The three year programme of Theology satisfies the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor in Theology as set down in the Apostolic Constitution of Pope John Paul II,Sapietia Christiana,as well as the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Theology of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
